    Carly Simon's song is overproduced. It is like it starts in the middle of a song that had already started.

    Brenda Russell's song builds from a gentle opening and progresses.  It is atmospheric. So it got my vote.

    I would be perfectly happy to have either played at the funeral of my worst enemy.
