Ken Starr says Mueller did a 'grave disservice to our country,' did not ensure staff was 'fair and balanced'
Former Independent Counsel Ken Starr criticized Robert Mueller Wednesday for failing to take the necessary steps to ensure he had a fair and balanced staff working on the Russia probe.
Responding after Mueller's first of two hearings before the House, Starr told Fox News that he was disappointed with Mueller's handling of the investigation and that it was his duty as special counsel to ensure his team would operate in a fair and unbiased manner.
"I love Bob Mueller as a human being, as a patriot - but I think he's done a grave disservice to our country in the way he conducted this investigation," said Starr.

Trump was not exonerated.
The Mueller investigation was not a witch hunt.
The evidence of obstruction of justice is overwhelming.
Mueller confirmed that Trump wanted to fire him and directed staffers to falsify records connected to his investigation.
Trump was not indicted for multiple counts of obstruction of justice solely because of his office.
Trump can be charged with criminal offenses after he leaves office.
Trump was “generally untruthful” in his answers.
Russian agents committed federal crimes in order to help Trump win the Presidential election of 2016.
Calling Trump’s statements regarding WikiLeaks were “problematic” would be an understatement.
Trump and his campaign welcomed and encouraged Russian interference.
Trump and his campaign lied about Russian help to cover it up.
