Trump Guaranteed 100% to win re-election
by Ogami
So if you watch FoxNews or the other news networks, they are actually saying the same thing: Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren beating Trump by 1% in the polls.
In part, these poll results are the mark of a successful campaign by the Democrat party and their news media to demon-ize Donald Trump and his voters. No one wants to answer a pollster that they support "racist white nationalist divisive polarizing" Donald Trump. But the simple fact is that Democrats have always used this smear campaign against any Republican such as the Bushes, John McCain, or Mitt Romney. (I was saddened but not surprised to see all such RINOs eagerly joining in on trashing Trump as a racist, despite the fact that this exact label was used by the same critics against every one of them.)
I emphasize this effectiveness before noting that the polls were wrong about Donald Trump winning in 2016. The polls can be wrong because people don't want the pollster to think of them as a racist in supporting Trump. But in 2016 when in the privacy of the poll booth, away from friends, co-workers, and those who might judge, enough people voted secretly for Trump to shift the direction of this country. That's why we have secret ballot boxes in American elections, by the way, for those ignorant of basic American civics like our Democrat friends.
But let's say that the polls are accurate today. That Americans have Trump fatigue, of seeing him always in the news presented in the most INSANELY-NEGATIVE light by a partisan press. Because Trump fights back against press lies, because Trump defends himself and his policies with vigor, he is termed polarizing and divisive. But it was Barack Obama who was the divisive president, picking winners and losers, placing Americans into categories of victims, each with their own grievances against America. Donald Trump is the remedy to such divisiveness, there isn't anything divisive about him or his message, and never was.
Take the issue of separating families at the border. President Obama created these detention centers. President Obama enforced the policy of separating law-breaking adults from any children they dragged across the border. President Obama made these centers, these cages, and put these sad children off by themselves.
But since the news media didn't report on it, didn't care, and didn't editorialize on it 24/7, it wasn't seen as Obama's problem. Just like the rest of his policies. It's all in how the press reports it.
Now if you watch the media's coverage of this Trump policy, they make it seem like everyone in America is on the side of illegals, on the side of illegals grabbing American benefits, illegal children doubling the class size in our schools, illegals flooding the job market so that we can't get higher wages, illegals overloading our health care system. If you watch the news, this is the slant they give.
But ask family members, ask co-workers (without getting fired), and they agree with what Trump is doing. They have to filter the news, as we do on message boards, but the American public is not as dumb as the news media assumes. We see through the media's lies about Trump, and recognize all of this as a tactic to increase voter turnout for the Democrat party. Not journalism, activism for one party and one party only.
Trump's policies, despite being reported in the most apocalyptic fashion by the Democrat news media, are policies that are working and that a majority of Americans agree with. We've all seen the forced diversity of President Obama's eight years, where "diversity" was defined as going along with 100% of the Democrat agenda to force socialism on us, punish success, and export our factories to China and Mexico. Anyone disagreeing with that was termed a racist. Hence the election of Donald Trump, a precise reaction to that arrogant attitude of the Obama Era. We reacted to being forced to go along with Obama's agenda. And that will define the 2020 election as well.
When we look at the campaign statements of the Democrat primary challengers for 2020, almost nothing they say has any reality or resonance with the American voting public. Let's look at the Democrat candidate policy statements:
1) Green New Deal: Most Americans wonder why this is called a "Deal", when it's no deal to cancel our industries (which Trump got running again), no deal to raise our taxes, no deal to forcibly limit whether we can eat meat or not (cow farts!), no deal anywhere in sight. How is it a deal for the American Bald Eagle to be chopped into bits by windmill farms? How is it a deal to take away the choice of Americans driving the cars they want, instead of egg-shaped econoboxes like Europeans are forced to drive? No aspect of this "deal" appeals to voters, showing that those proposing it don't even have a clue what the word "deal" means, other than a loose allusion to FDR.
2) Trump has alienated our foreign allies: This is a charge repeated by the "mainstream" Democrat candidates, and it's a repeat of Hillary Clinton's "reset button" with the Russians, where following a campaign ad, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told the Russians that she and Obama were resetting their relationship into a more respectable notion away from "cowboy Bush". The Russians were incredulous. Did the Dems really mistake a campaign attack ad from their own campaign with the reality of America's relations with Russia? Hillary was claiming so, indicating she was foolish, shallow, and completely clueless. And the Russians took full advantage of that naive attitude during the entire eight years of Obama's presidency.
To see Joe Biden and others say they're going to restore our country's respect with Europe, China, and the Russians is baffling. For the first time, all of these allies and adversaries respect our country because Trump told them that business as usual, America being taken for a ride, was no longer applicable.
The oddest thing is watching Joe Biden attack Trump's tough trade talk. By implication, Joe Biden's negotiating position with regards to China will be: to give China everything they want as the opening offer. The same for Europe and anyone else doing trade with us. That was the Obama and Bush policy. Give away everything, our factories, our industries, our jobs, our careers. Just so the world "likes us". Trump utterly rejected this notion, and seeing the Dem candidates insist that they will return things to the status quo is just baffling to me. How is caving to our competitors the winning "turn around" from Trump's policy?
3) Polarization. I don't see how electing a Democrat will make progressive liberal leftists more tolerant of other points of view. Instead, they will go on the warpath, hunting down and destroying anyone who dares voice an opinion at odds with the fascist American left. Think America will come together if we vote Trump out of office? The opposite will occur. The left takes an inch and crushes their enemies if they gain power. Look at Pol Pot's Cambodia. Venezuela, Cuba, China, the examples are endless.
The only way to stop the division of this country is to re-elect Trump, not throw him out on Trumped-up charges of various "isms".
The Democrat message is not a winning one, regardless of their eventual nominee. Despite every effort by the media to report Trump's personality in the worst possible light, his actual policies are undeniably good. People obsessing over temporary dips in the stock market miss the point. You don't negatiate better trade deals with China by caving to what they want from the get-go. Trump stands firm because he's fighting for the American worker and their families.
There is no Democrat message that can counter that. And so I predict a 100% CHANCE that Trump will be re-elected. Bank on it.
A man and a leader for our times. Trump in 2020!

Dowie, it's to my regret that on yuku, tapatalk, and now this backup board we never really had a solid Democrat presence to debate ideas and topics. We'd get a few Democrat/progressive posters here in America posting, telling us we're racist for supporting Trump. But I lament that we could never get a Democrat to defend (or explain) the Iran Nuclear Deal. Why was it necessary to dump billions of dollars on Iran's Mullahs? Why did Obama and Biden think this necessary? No Democrat ever defends or explains their policies, and I'd like to discuss and debate the merits of such. The same with Democrat support of TPP, of our existing trade deals. Biden speaks in general terms of "not offending" our trade partners like China and the EU. That's not a great trade position, unless you like supine positions.

I spent a fortnight in the Netherlands five years ago. I have to believe that if I visited London, Dowie and I could share a pint of bitters and you could tell me about your wacky Parliament and government system there. And we'd laugh and agree to keep in touch.
Life is full of laments, but one of them won't be Trump being a one-termer. Privately, I think posters like you also prefer to have Trump in the spotlight another four years. You would be so bored with a President Warren to support. Cheers.

I don't think, in the history of the internet, a Democrat has the intellectual capacity or integrity to do what you want, Ogami.....Democrats NEVER explain why they do things or the rationale by which they do them, because there is no logic or rationality behind their rationale....You can't have a rational conversation with crazy people....It just hasn't been done.

Yes, but there is a difference between being crazy, and being willfully informed into craziness by Democrat news. CNN, the Washington Post, the New York Times, MS-NBC, they lie to their viewers every day. It's why Democrats were STUNNED by Trump's 2016 election win. It's why Democrats were stunned to find Republicans strengthen their control of the Senate in 2018. They got their news from propaganda outlets which screamed day and night that all Republicans were going to be impeached so victory for Dems forever!
That didn't happen. Reality does not intrude often on the Democrat world. We saw this with the initial release of the Mueller Report. They had a MS-NBC "reporter" harassing Mueller at church, demanding to know when he was going to recommend Trump for impeachment. I think Dems only waited a day before launching on their next gambits of insanity, of "obstruction" and other nuttiness that was equally pointless in the real world.
Trump is guaranteed a 100% win, and just like that California environmental law says, he will be out in 2024.
A law just for Trump’s presidency? California measure aims to protect state’s environment
